Pond scum: perfect for low performing school cafeterias?
Pond scum is full of vitamins and nutrients. And, it’s an anti-oxidant. As part of the No Child Left Behind program, we could supplement the diets of children in low performing schools with supernutritious pond scum. We can call it “happy seaweed”, and we could put it in a recyclable container that looks like a yellow submarine.
This would address algae problems in golf course ponds across the country, and would help steer fat underclass children to a more nutritious diet.
Sagg — since humans respirate, we take in the atmosphere constantly. The atmosphere is 71% nitrogen. So, unless a child plans to dive beyond 10 meters during recess, the body is equipped to dissipate nitrogen. Thanks for the concern, though. Excellent point.
Heh. You know, those schools are getting screwed over so bad under No Child Left Behind that they’d probably appreciate some pond scum – or anything, for that matter.
I’m sure Bush belongs to a couple country clubs whose absurdly wealthy patrons, rather than donating to said underprivileged schools, would simply go play golf and appreciate those clean ponds.
