The Fastest Way To Lower Abs

Having great looking lower abs is one of the most sought after goals for any exercise enthusiast. Unfortunately 99 percent of the people who set out to achieve this goal never accomplish it. I believe that any one can have great looking lower abs is they follow to a few guidlines.

Do not do abs exercises every day. If you are doing an abs routine everyday you either over training your abs of you are not working with the proper resistance. You need to train your abs as you would any other muscle. That is using extra weight when executing the exercise. An example of this would be doing 12 crunches holding a weight above your head compared to doing 50 body weight crunches. You should not have to train your abs more than three times a week.

The other main reason people fail to obtain 6 pack abs is because that choose the wrong supporting exercises. You need to make sure that you choose exercises that will expend the most amount of energy and raise your metabolism for an extended period of time after the workout is finished. Some of these exercises are push-up, bench press, bent over rows, pull-ups, squats and dead lift. These exercises work multiple muscles at once and each of them includes core stabilization.

Your diet must support weight loss. You need to get your body fat percentage down to 6 to 10 percent for men and 12 to’ percent for women. If you are currently not at this level, even if your abs is cut, they will not show. Shifting your calories is the most efficient way for quick fat loss. When you shift your calories your body thinks that it is consuming more food than it actually is, keeping your metabolism high. If you go too long in a calorie deficient state your body will slow its metabolism thinking that it is going into starvation mode.

Your workouts need to get consistently more challenging. Without progression you will plateau and stop seeing results. You can make your workouts harder by increasing the weight used, taking shorter rest. Keep a journal of your workouts. This way you can track your progress. You will then know if you are making progress. If you are getting stronger, faster and more flexible, your body will have no choice but to positively adapt to these changes.

Stress can cause havoc on the body. Weight gain is just one of the side effects. You need to find way to minimize stress in your life. Meditation is one of the most popular methods along with walking in nature. Sometimes just taking a moment to think about the good things in your life can has good effect on your happiness and stress levels.

I wanted to give some basic guidelines to follow. This way you can elevate your current program and notice if other programs in magazines and on the internet would actually work for. If you are looking for a more exercises visit the tight abs blog. Make sure that you visit the lower ab exercises section for the most efficient abs exercises.
